Building Relationships…
“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:3–6 (ESV)
We exist to further the gospel of Jesus Christ., but we believe the best way to do that is through relationships.
One of the key components of relationships is learning from one another. While we may go to Cuba to assist our Cuban brothers and sisters in ministry, we by no means try to tell them how to do things or have them duplicate the way we might do ministry in the US. Over the years, I can honestly say I have learned a great deal more from the Cubans about what it means to be the church than I could ever teach them. These relationships, developed over decades, have enabled both the Cubans and us to better serve others.
