Mission and Ministry in Cuba
Building Relationships
While the gospel is the foundation of this ministry, relationship building is our primary focus when we travel to Cuba. Building relationships with pastors, churches, and individuals opens avenues of sharing that help all of us grow in our faith and ministry.
Preaching and Teaching
We are always given the opportunity to preach and/or teach in our sister churches, or at special events, during our visits to Cuba. The Cubans worship in church sanctuaries, apartment buildings, homes, and outdoors in some cases. Over the years, we have been very blessed to have wonderful translators, since most of us are not fluent enough to preach in Spanish.
Assessing and Meeting Needs
On our visits to Cuba, we are able to assess the needs of churches, pastors, and individuals. Many times, we are able to provide immediate assistance with the funds available to us at that time. Often, we return to the US and share the needs with individuals, churches, and organizations who are able to either provide the needed funding. or collect the needed items.
